Here are a few photos I took while walking around Paris on a Sunday afternoon...From my apartment I walked to rue Mouffetard...Each Sunday a group of musicians play French music and the crowd sings. They are at the end of rue Mouffetard - by a market.
At the top of rue Mouffetard is the Pantheon - one of the large churches of Paris and where the greatest people of France are buried.
Down hill from the Pantheon is the River Seine - a nice place to go on Sunday to listen to musicians and to avoid the traffic...
Here are some views taken from the apartment of George Whitman, the owner of the Shakespeare & Co. bookstore, just opposite Notre Dame...
