Last night I was walking along the South Bank of the Thames in London when I saw this nice constellation of lights. I quite like the South Bank with its many cultural institutions, restaurants, cafes and bars. There are some great views of some historic and interesting buildings in London. During the day there are often street musicians and I have noticed that there is occasionally a book fair under Waterloo Bridge.
Today I went to an excellent exhibition at the Photographer's Gallery. The pictures were from the Deutsche Börse Photography Prize 2008 and included some really interesting pictures by Jacob Holdt under the title American Pictures 1970-1975.
