Today I went to a meeting at the town hall on the subject of security in the town. I was asked to give a speech (made up on the spot) in French to around 100 people - public speaking is not easy at the best of times - especially in French with a person translating what you are saying into swahili!! Anyway, I managed to keep it short, entertain the crowd with some encouraging words about the progress of democracy and human rights - very dubya!!
