The week is speeding along. Things remain quiet, but then things change quickly here. We are waiting for a visit from the president of South Africa next week. He will participate in negotiations in Kinshasa, the capital, to resolve divisions in the transitional government.
The next week will be quite busy as we have a few delegations visiting Beni - although Beni is quiet, it is considered important. It is therefore a good place to be - by Congo standards!
