Monday, 5 March

This weekend was a rather busy and nocturnal weekend... On Friday some friends and I made a trip to the Paris catacombes - tunnels that run for hundreds of kilometres under the streets of Paris. The tunnels were created for stone extraction to build Paris. Today many of the tunnels still exist, though access is not easy. Many tunnels have been blocked up and some are flooded. A good map and torches are essential as it's easy to get lost.

On Saturday I organised a party at Cite Universitaire for people that used to live at the Residence Andre Honnorat. It was good to catch up with some old friends. The party lasted until 3am... so I didn't sleep much this weekend!
