At last I have worked out how to post photos on this journal! This adds some colour to things. The above photo is of my hotel. This is where I have been staying since I got here pending my final posting. The hotel is not too bad - except for the frequent power cuts and water shortages!
I have not had too many opportunities to take photos as it is illegal, though I am told that it is just an excuse for the police to demand a bribe. I will try to post some more soon...You will also find some more photos earlier in the journal, as I have tried to post them relative to the text.
