In Paris - since 22 March

Finally I have had the time to write and to post some photos, which I hope look Ok. I am currently back in Paris and it is April - there is no better time to be here. Spring is here and there are flowers everywhere. I am currently busy preparing for an entry exam for the United Nations - this time with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. I have a lot of reading to do - around 1000 pages...

At the moment I am staying at Shakespeare & Co. bookstore until I find somewhere more permanent. This is the legendary Paris bookstore where you can stay for free in return for 2 hours work per day. My room has a great view of Notre Dame (photo to come)...

Trip to South-East Europe...

Return to Europe...

After finishing my work in Africa I returned to Paris. I arrived on my birthday which was really great as I got to spend the day with a lot of my friends. It was great to be back in a bustling city after the isolation of Congo. To go to the cinema; to go shopping and just to go walking...

After a few days in Paris I headed home to England for Christmas. Below is a view of the White Cliffs of Dover seen from the Calais-Dover ferry...

Back in Paris again...

And spending New Years with frinds. We watched the fireworks in Jardin des Tuilleries from near Notre Dame...

This picture is of the sails of toy boats in the Jardin des Tuileries - in the background you can see the Louvre...
