This has been another busy week of language classes and travelling... Last weekend I made a trip to Berlin (photos to follow). Berlin has changed a lot since I was last there in 2001 (I think). I stayed with a friend in the north-east of the city. The city still seems quite divided, though the most interesting things to see and do seem to be in the poorer eastern half of the city, which also seemed to be more vibrant generally. For these little weekend trips, Paris is a great place to be based - it is relatively easy to get to most parts of Europe. though, this weekend I am taking a break from travelling and staying in Paris (though sometimes being in Paris seems like travelling too)...
