...Finally enough time to write something - though not too much. The picture of the Moldovan embassy in Paris is not there because it looks nice - but because I was there to get my visa, though that was a month ago.
Now I am in Moldova and having a great time. I am currently working with the International Organisation for Migration in the capital of Moldova, Chisinau. I arrived on 18 July and have been kept very busy - learning my new job, finding a place to live, and generally settling in. Though as this is my third time in Moldova, this is not too difficult. After only two days on the job I was sent to the Romanian town of Iasi to participate in the development of the United Nations Development Assistance Framework for Moldova - this is a 5-year development plan for the country. My usual work involves designing humanitarian assistance projects and fundraising - it is not so easy, though it is quite interesting.
